Consistently favorable weather makes it easy to enjoy all that Carlsbad has to offer year-round.

The La Costa Resort and Spa is an extremely well liked and popular destination in Southern California, as it is highly acclaimed for its lavish pools, relaxing spa treatments, and golf courses. Professional golf and tennis tournaments take place in the region, providing an exciting form of entertainment. Additionally, many natural wonders are located in close proximity. A variety of parks, like the La Costa Canyon Park, and the San Diego Botanic Garden, give residents a peaceful outlet. Also nearby: wineries, the popular LEGOLAND theme park, and the Museum of Making Music.

La Costa is set among open spaces and rolling hills. Along La Costa Avenue you can find flower stores, restaurants, and shops. La Costa Avenue also runs along the pretty Batiquitos Lagoon and San Marcos Creek. At the western end is South Ponto Beach, which is one of the widest beaches in the county.
